Ammo pouches are automatically added to your loadout based on the projectile type used in the magazine of your primary weapon and sidearm. (They can be added manually also.)
To enable this to happen, you need to use one of the following pouch names in any custom magazines that you make, in the Default Pouch Type
field. See modding magazines.
There is a Pouch Type
field in Pouch
type blueprint assets which this is matched to. Usually there is a single and a double pouch option. The game will automatically assign the double pouch, but you can manually substitute for a single pouch if desired.
Other kinds of inventory items can also have pouches and default pouch types. These are listed at the end.
